Egelton was an outstanding two-way player in 2003 and is expected to see action in the outfield, on the mound, and at the designated hitter spot in 2004. He can be used in multiple roles such as a starter or a middle reliever … is a polished freshman whose main role will be on the pitching staff.

High School: Was a four-year letter-winner at Wilson High School … was named to the all-regional team twice and was voted best pitcher in 2002 by his high school teammates … was a member of the American Legion State runner-up team in 2001 and led his high school squad to the region championship.

Personal: Kinard Renardo Egleton … born March 6, 1984 … son of Ronnie and Geraldine Egleton … twin brother, Mark, is also a member of the Bulldog baseball team.
