2004:
Harris finished
the 2004 Cape League campaign as just one of seven Cape Leaguers
to bat over .300 with his .308 average... was named a starting Western
Division all-star... led the team in several offensive categories.
A superb JUCO prospect, Harris should make an
impact at third base for the Tigers in 2005… transferred to
LSU from Santa Ana (Calif.) College … suffered off-season
hernia surgery but should be ready for the season opener …
saw limited action in LSU’s fall 2003 intrasquad games.

Earned 2003 JUCO all-American honors, as he batted a stellar .407
with eight homers, 19 doubles, 51 RBI and 16 stolen bases at Santa
Ana College ... collected 70 hits and scored 44 runs during his
one-year stint ... also named a first-team all-conference selection
at third base ... honor student and member of the Dean's List.

Product of Tustin (Calif.) High School ... batted .530 as a senior,
prior to breaking his thumb ... team captain and team MVP all four
years of high school ... an honor roll student in the classroom,
sophomore through senior years.

Full name is Bryan Scott Harris ... parents are Clay and Nancy Harris
... has one younger sister, Kellie ... interests include music,
computers and water sports ... chose LSU because of "the strong
history and tradition and a strong kinesiology program" ...
plans on majoring in kinesiology ... born September 15, 1983.
