In 2003:

Appeared and started in 51 of the team’s 53 games at shortstop... batted .317 with one home run and 34 RBI... was fourth on the team in RBI... stole four bases in six attempts... owned a .929 fielding percentage at the shortstop position... began the season by reaching safely in seven of his first eight games (.387, 12-of-31)... ended the season on a career-best 10-game hitting streak (.447, 17-of-38), which included a four-hit, three RBI performance against Georgia Tech in the ACC Tournament, five hits in the Clemson series and two hits against both VCU and Charlotte... homered against VCU in the midst of that hot stretch... went 5-for-10 in the North Carolina series... went 4-for-5 with a double at Davidson on April 2 with a career-high five RBI... committed just two errors in the month of March in 93 chances.

In 2002:

Finished a tremendous rookie campaign with a .305 average with two home runs, 29 runs batted in and a .938 fielding percentage... laid down seven sacrifice bunts... was plunked 11 times at the plate, the fourth-most in Wake Forest history... had a better batting average against ACC in the regular season (.309) than against non-conference foes... posted a .408 on-base percentage in the conference... capped a two-out rally against North Carolina with a two-run game-winning single in the eighth inning as the Deacons erased a 6-1 deficit on April 7... had four hits against NC State and Maryland... went 4-for-6 against Maryland on April 19 with a double and his first career home run... also homered against Davidson on May 1... doubled twice against Liberty on March 27 and against VCU on May 12... missed the first four games of the year with a minor back injury... started at shortstop in 56 of the remaining 57 games of the year.

At Riverside HS:

Left Riverside High School as the career leader in runs, steals, walks and at bats... batted .368 as a junior with 19 stolen bases in 20 games... three-time conference player of the year... selected to the All-North Carolina team... was the Pac-6 Conference Player of the Year... four-time all-conference selection... voted Riverside’s MVP and best defensive player... an all-around athlete who played two years of soccer... an outstanding student... high school coach David Norman says Ingold was “the cornerstone of our defense since the day he set foot on campus” and the hardest working player he’s ever had.
