In high school Jesse was selected to the All-District, All-County, All-Greater Houston and All-State teams, as well as being named a Texas High School Coaches Association All-Star during his high school career. Jesse also participated in the All-Greater Houston All-Star Game, Scouts Association All-Star Game and the Area Code Games.  His outstanding play garnered him the 13th round pick for the Arizona Diamondbacks in June of 1999. Jesse is a business major and is the son of Nancy and Ronnie Harper of Clute, Texas. Jesse was a 21 round draft pick by the Toronto Blue Jays in June of 2000. Back to Roster
