Bruce Lucas
Pitching Coach
|
Bruce returns to the staff as pitching coach. He is the
manager of the Pocasset Frozen Ropes training facility. For 16 years he was the baseball
coach at Edward Little High School in Auburn, Maine, where in 1989 and 1992 he led the
team to the High School State Championships, making the playoffs 14 out of 16 years. Bruce
also coached Legion baseball for 17 years, winning the State Championship in 1991, making
the playoffs all 17 years. He was the defensive coordinator on the football team in Auburn
for 13 years. He graduated from the University of Maine, Orono, where he was a pitcher and
where Mike Coutts played third. Bruce grew up in the same town in Maine as Coach Mike
