Scott has completed his second year
as an assistant coach at Bryant College. He enjoyed a standout
career at Providence College, as the Friars’ starting catcher.
He completed his career in 1998 ranked fifth in school history in
hits, third in runs scored, first in doubles, seventh in home
runs, third in RBIs, third in batting average, eighth in stolen
bases, third in slugging percentage, and third in total bases. A
career .372 hitter. Scott was a third-team All-American, first
team All-New England, first team All-ECAC, and ABCA first team
All-Northeast Region, and played in the New England
Intercollegiate Baseball Coaches All-Star game. Scott spent two
seasons playing professionally with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Is a
