Talented rookie who was bothered by injuries in the fall. Good fastball and breaking pitch. Could also contribute in the outfield. Had five strikeouts in only 7.1 innings in the fall. Also won first-team all-district honors as a sophomore and junior. Led Cavaliers to a 15-10 record in 2000. Played in the THSBCA all-star game at the Ballpark in Arlington in 2000. Two year-letterman for Lake Travis as a wide receiver in football, earning first-team all-district honors as a sophomore.
