COTUIT 2006: Batted .303 for Kettleers in 2006... in eight games... made one appearance on mound...HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated in three years from Farragut High School in Knoxville, Tenn. ... Was the 10th-ranked overall prospect at the 2004 East Coast Showcase in Wilmington, N.C. and was the only junior to be ranked ... Earned All-State and District MVP honors as a junior in 2005 while helping the Admirals to third-place finish in the state playoffs ... Played in just 19 games as a sophomore after suffering a broken thumb but hit .362 with 22 RBIs in limited action ... Farragut's 2004 team posted a 46-2 record, garnered a No. 3 national ranking and won its second consecutive state title... Competed at the 2004 TBCA Worth Showcase and was also a member of the 2004 Tennessee Junior Sunbelt Team ... Hit .387 as a freshman at Farragut in 2003 as the Admirals went 48-1, posted a ranking of No. 2 in the country and won the state championship.
