Aaron Rembert •
Assistant Coach • Mars Hill College
Aaron
serves as the pitching coach, recruiting coordinator, head JV Coach,
and oversees the strength and conditioning program at Mars Hill
College in Mars Hill, NC. In his first coaching season the team set
numerous school records, including wins (32), saves (16), and ERA
(5.44).
In college at UNC Asheville, he set the record
for the most wins in school history with 24 and most wins as a
freshman with nine. He also placed in the top five in career saves
strikeouts, appearances and innings pitched. Rembert was the first
freshman at UNCA to receive All-American honors.
Aaron signed a professional contract with the
River City Rascals of the Frontier League. He also played summer
league baseball with the North Adams Steeplecats of the New England
Collegiate League (2003), Mat-su Miners of the Alaska League (2002),
and the Lenoir Oilers of the Southern Collegiate Baseball League
(2001).
Rembert and his wife Angela, who is a math teacher at Madison
High School, live in Mars Hill, NC.
