Baseball
Career, Scholastic, and Collegiate Highlights: After bypassing
his senior year in high school, Robert enrolled at USC in the fall
of 2006. In 2005, he was named Baseball America’s Youth Player of
the year batting .456 with 25 RBIs, posting a 5-3 record with a 2.69
ERA and a fastball clocked at 95 mph. Behind the plate he committed
only one error while throwing out almost 70% of all base runners. He
was also named the top player in the nation while in high school by
Baseball America three years in a row while maintaining a 3.8 GPA.
