Brother of 2007 assistant coach Aaron Rembert, Grant is an assistant baseball coach at Elon University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 2005 and his MBA in 2007.

As freshman on a baseball scholarship at the UNC Asheville, Grant was a Louisville Slugger All American and Big South All Tournament catcher. In 2003, he was named to the Johnny Quick Pepsi Classic All Tournament Team. After transferring to Elon University in 2004, as captain of the baseball team, he earned the NCBWA National Hitter of the Week award and twice was named to the Southern Conference All Conference Team. In 2006, he signed a professionally with the Evansville Otters from Evansville, IN, and was a member of the 2006 Frontier League Championship Team.

Grant's extensive experience with baseball camps and knowledge of baseball will bring a strong background to the Kettleers 2008 season.
