2008: Made 17 appearances, including three starts...posted a 3.55 ERA, the second-lowest mark on the team...totaled 18 strikeouts in 33.0 innings, the highest totals by any freshman pitcher on the staff...allowed one unearned run in three innings in his second start of the season, a 6-4 win at UC Irvine (May 13)...limited Loyola Marymount (April 30) to two runs in 4.1 innings in his first collegiate start...hurled two scoreless innings in relief against Cal State Fullerton (March 5), totaling three strikeouts and just one walk...tossed two scoreless inning in relief against Cal State Northridge in a game resumed on April 15 (dated Feb. 26); game had been suspended due to darkness...credited with his collegiate debut in a UCLA victory against Southern (Feb. 29), striking out the one batter he faced in relief.
