in 59.1 innings.
- Pitched in 10 Big 12 games, logging a 3-0 record and one save
with 17 strikeout and a 1.65 ERA in 16.1 innings.
- Notched a 7-0 record with a 0.68 ERA and 40 strikeouts (11
walks) over 39.2 in 15 appearances at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
2009 HIGHLIGHTS
- Tossed 1.0 scoreless innings with one hit, one walk and two
strikeouts against UIC (2/20).
- Pitched 6.0 innings in his first career start against UT
Arlington (2/24), scattering two hits, striking out five (one
walk).
- Notched his first career win against Dallas Baptist (3/24),
scattering four hits and striking out eight over 7.1 scoreless
innings.
- Earned a win in relief with 2.2 scoreless innings (two hits)
against Texas Tech (3/29).
- Scattered three hits and fanned five in 4.0 innings of shutout
relief to earn a win against No. 19 TCU (4/7).
- Worked 2.2 scoreless innings, allowing just one hit and
striking out five against Nebraska (4/10).
- Picked up victory in start against Texas A&M-Corpus
Christi (4/14), yielding just one hit and one walk with four
strikeouts in 3.0 shutout innings.
- Earned his first career save at Texas A&M (5/8), pitching
one shutout inning with two strikeouts.
- Yielded one run on one hit and one walk while striking out two
over 2.1 innings to earn relief win against No. 14 Texas A&M
(5/10).
- Pitched the final 5.2 scoreless innings of UT's marathon
25-inning regional victory over Boston College to earn the win.
Allowed just one hit and one walk while striking out four.
HIGH SCHOOL
- A four-year varsity letter winner as a pitcher for Coach Kent
Meador at Klein Collins High School in Spring, Texas.
- Earned first-team all-district and Team MVP as a senior.
- Selected as a second-team Rawlings All-American and
all-conference as a senior.
- Selected first-team all-district, 2nd-team All-Greater Houston
and Texas Sports Writers Association Class 5A All-State
Second Team as a junior.
- Posted a 10-1 record with a 1.41 ERA and 78 strikeouts in 59.2
innings as a junior.
- Also hit .376 with seven doubles, six home runs and 34 RBI in
2007 in helping lead Klein Collins to a 38-5 mark.

junior as well as being named to the Houston Area Baseball
Coaches Association Junior All-Stars team.
