MLB Draft: Was a 17th round selection (509th overall) of the Cincinnati Reds in the 2009 Major League Baseball draft.

Personal: Exploratory major...mother is Dalyn Nye of Davie, Florida...has two sisters, Lauren and Brittany...his cousin Chris is in the Washington Nationals system, while his cousin Christian is in the White Sox organization...chose ASU because of the tradition of the baseball program...says his favorite team is the Florida Marlins...born August 25, 1990 in Miami, Florida.
