Earned second win at Western Carolina, logging 5.0 innings...Threw 5.0 innings in relief at North Carolina A&T, capturing his only save of the season...Recorded his first collegiate win, defeating No. 20 East Carolina, striking out six in 5.0 IP...Threw 5.0 innings against Winthrop, striking out four...No-decision versus No. 8 Georgia Tech, fanning four in five innings...Logged season-best 7.1 innings at Appalachian State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered three years in baseball playing for coach Greg Gilbert... two-time All-Conference pick ... First Team All-Area in 2008... his junior year posted a 5-1 record and impressive 0.27 ERA in 42 innings... allowed just 24 hits and struck out 52 batters to just eight walks issued... in the summer of 2006 and 2007 helped his summer team to the American Legion Region 3 championship and Pennsylvania state runner-up finish... 

PERSONAL: Drafted in the 39th round of the 2008 MLB Draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers... born December 28, 1989 in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania... from the same area as former Eagle standout pitcher A.J. Battisto ... No. 1 sports highlight was striking out 16 batters in six innings during a game his senior year ... his parents have been a major influence, "For always pushing me in the right direction so I can obtain my goals."... most admires coach Gilbert, coach Stoltzfus and coach Bretz, "For teaching me the game of baseball since I was in middle school and the right way to play the game."... enjoys fishing, basketball and watching Family Guy with friends... favorite professional teams are Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles and Flyers... favorite musical groups are Cassidy and Lil Wayne... son of Brian and RaNelle Murray...
