Comes Through in the Clutch Once More
Sept.
7, 2005
For
Immediate Release
MASHPEE,
MA -- Their season might be over, but things could be a lot worse.
The Cotuit Kettleers received an
end-of-season donation of another $1,000
from Cape.Com as part of their on-going matching funds program.
Cape.Com donated $1,000 earlier in the season after the July 3rd
game. This $1,000 donation is for matching funds raised from
the large crowd which attended
the game on Sunday, August 7th against Hyannis (which the Kettleer's
won
2-1). Although this win sent the Kettleers into the playoffs, they
were
knocked out in the next round by Bourne.
Cape.Com became a major supporter of Cotuit Kettleer
Baseball in 2002, and
matches all donations collected at two specific games during the
Kettleer's
regular season -- traditionally a game held over the 4th of July
weekend,
and the final home game. Since 2002, Cape.Com has donated over $6,000
to
the organization. Cape.Com also donates website hosting and dialup
internet
access to members of the organization.
Cape.Com is the leading ISP in southeastern MA,
specializing in high-speed
DSL, T1 and Wireless Hotspot Internet access. Additional services
include
Broadband Voice (VoIP) calling, web & email hosting along with
