Each
season, the need for continued support from our many fans, alumni,
and community sponsors
becomes more and more urgent. The Cotuit Kettleers remain the
ONLY Cape League team to fully maintain its playing field and
park without use of public funds.
In
2004, the Cotuit Athletic Association
opened a brand new, state-of-the art press box facility in addition
to a new backstop. The two projects combined to cost upward of
$127,000 and completed phase one of the multi-year Lowell Park
Renovation Program. In addition to these completed projects, the
Kettleers were successful in attaining donations of a new state-of-the-art
batting cage, completed new fencing projects throughout the park,
added a new roof to the visitors' dugout and completed the first
of several planned phases of brick walkways.
Other
ongoing and long range projects include expanding parking and
seating facilities, enlarging the concession stand, and updating
and expanding rest rooms to make them handicapped accessible.
If
you'd like to make a tax-deductible donation toward any of these
critical projects, please contact Arnold Mycock at (508) 428-2782.
