Koehler
was a reliever for the Middletown Giants this summer, recording
a 2-1 record and 2.59 ERA. he also picked up two saves in 11 appearances,
while striking out 22 batters. He allowed seven earned runs on 15
hits in 24.1 innings and held opposing batters to a .179 average
At
UC-Irvine this year, Koehler was a key figure out of the bullpen,
posting a 3.68 ERA and a 1-4 record. He was fifth on the team with
36 strikeouts and allowed 24 earned runs on 57 hits in 58.2 innings.
He picked up UC-Irvine's lone win this year versus Pepperdine.

and started in four...gave up 15 earned runs on 32 hits in 29.1
