2004 Cape Cod Baseball League Western Division All-Star

In 2003, Strickland proved a formidable force in the Sunshine Conference, garnering him SSC Conference Freshman of the Year honors.

    Batting .338, this speedy utlility man stole 31 of 36 bases in 2003 to lead Florida Southern and in addition to the SSC's top frosh baseball award, earned All-Conference Second Team honors.

    Versatile and capable of playing several positions, Strickland is equally adept at the plate, batting from both sides. He promises to be a perfect fit for Coach Roberts' "Make things happen" offense.

    He helped lead Florida Southern squad to a 44-13 record in 2003... led the team in doubles (16), was tied for 5th on the squad in runs batted in (30), collected three home runs, was 3rd in total bases (97) and committed just one error in the playing field.

High School: Graduated from Lake Brantley High School in 2002... Played for coach Mike Smith... Led Seminole County in batting as a senior...
