Take Down Hyannis Mets, 6-4, Now in 2nd Place

HYANNIS,
MA -- The Cotuit Kettleers took a giant step toward earning a coveted
playoff spot last night at McKeon Park, downing the host Hyannis
Mets, 6-4. The win placed Cotuit (19-16-2) in a two-way tie with
Wareham in second place in the Western Division, and three points
shy of first place Bourne.
The Kettleers plated three runs in both the fourth
and fifth innings to give Missouri's Nathan Culp (2-1) his second
Cape League victory this season.
Top hitters for Cotuit included Arizona's Jason
Donald (1-2, RBI), Delaware's Todd Davison (2-4), Tennessee's Julio
Borbon (1-4) and Brown's Devin Thomas (1-3, RBI).
The Kettleers host Falmouth today at home (Friday,
July 29) at 2 p.m.
