- Bourne 4 Cotuit 3
- This was Cotuit’s second walk off loss of the year; the first came against the Chatham Anglers in the second game of the season, a 5-4 loss
- Cotuit erased their hitless and runless streaks against the Bourne Braves in the first inning. After being no hit their first time out, Rios led off the game with a single. Then Ford scored on an error by the Bourne first basemen
- Edwin Rios (Florida International), and Drew Jackson (Stanford) made their first starts of the season. Rios went 1-5, and Jackson went 0-3 with a walk and an important sacrifice bunt that led to a Cotuit run in the third
- Cotuit dropped three straight bunts in the third inning. Jackson’s moved Will Remillard (Coastal Carolina), and Mike Ford (Princeton) to second and third. Jake Fincher (NC State) dropped a safety squeeze that scored Remillard. Then Rhett Wiseman’s (Vanderbilt) bunt was fielded by the pitcher and thrown home to catch Ford on a play at the plate
- Alex Haines (Seton Hill) had a no hitter through 3 1/3 when Clinton Freeman (East Tennessee) hit a one out single in the fourth
- Cotuit batters struck out 12 times in the game. Nine of these occurred after the fifth inning, when the bullpen took over for Ryan Kellogg (Arizona State)
- Tim Kiene (Maryland) is 3-6 with two walks in the last two games. Kiene also has two RBIs in that stretch
- Hunter Cole (Georgia) finally broke his two game hitless streak, with a single to left in the sixth inning
- The Kettleers allowed only two hits before the ninth inning. They allowed two runs in the ninth, and made two critical errors. These led to three runs by Bourne to walk off
