Opponent Capsule: Bourne Braves

The Bourne Braves will travel to Lowell Park to play the Cotuit Kettleers on Tuesday at 5 p.m.

Bourne Braves:

Record: 4-1

Last two games:

Vs. Brewster, 5-2 loss

Vs. Brewster 4-3 win

June 15, game 1:

The Braves didn’t get a hit until the fifth inning, and only got two the entire seven-inning game as they dropped the first game of the season, 5-2 to the Whitecaps. Sam Kmiec (Winthrop) gave up four runs in the first inning, and that was more than enough give Brewster game one.

June 15, game 2:

The Braves had to get out of a bases loaded, no outs jam in the seventh inning to salvage a split of the doubleheader on Sunday. John Gorman (Boston College) came on with nobody out and the bags full and only let one runner cross the plate, as he recorded the save. The Braves came back after falling behind 2-0.
