Record: 1-2

Last 2 Games: 6/12 – 13-3 loss to Wareham

6/14 – 9-0 loss to Orleans

Sunday’s Games: Cotuit @ Chatham (doubleheader), 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Last 2 Games:

Wareham 13, Chatham 3

The Gatemen took a 3-0 lead in the second after a Keaton Aldridge (Memphis) two-run home run. The Anglers tied the game in the bottom of the fourth after Nick Collins (Georgetown) and Mitchell Gonsolus (Georgetown) hit RBI singles and Donnie Cimino (Wesleyan) had a sacrifice fly. However, Wareham pushed the lead to 12-3 over the next two innings and put Chatham in a deficit it couldn’t overcome.

Orleans 9, Chatham 0

The Firebirds took an early lead courtesy of a Christin Stewart (Tennessee) two-run shot off Anglers’ starter P.J. Conlon (San Diego) in the first. Conlon settled down and gained control, but in the fifth, an Edwin Rios bases-clearing double extended the Orleans lead to 7-0 and Chatham was unable to come back from there, as the Firebirds tacked on two more runs the rest of the way.
