/ July 13, 2021

Game 17: Cotuit Kettleers (9-8) at Harwich Mariners (8-7-2)

Where: Whitehouse Field

When: 6:30 PM

How-to-listen: https://mixlr.com/cotuit-kettleers-radio-network/events

Probable Cotuit starter: Dalton Rogers (Southern Miss)

Last game result: Cotuit 6-0 Wareham

The Kettleers are back on the road tonight as they head to Harwich for the second time this season. Cotuit is over .500 for the first time since the first week of the season after a dominant win last night extended their win streak to two. Two Kettleer pitchers combined to shutout the Wareham Gateman for a 6-0 win.

Dalton Rogers (Southern Miss) will make his Kettleers debut tonight as he gets the start on the mound. Rogers had a 2.91 ERA in 65 innings pitched at Jones College this season. The southpaw had 103 strikeouts and allowed just 41 hits. He will be transferring to Southern Miss in the fall after the summer on the cape.

The Cotuit bats came alive last night behind a trio of homers. Ryan Ritter (Kentucky) and River Town (Dallas Baptist) both smashed their first homers of the season. Eric Brown Jr. (Coastal Carolina) slugged a three-run homer for his third homer of the season.
